Mike Selves
Mike Selves is a certified law enforcement officer in the State of South Dakota. Mike has over twenty years of law enforcement experience, most formally with the South Dakota Highway Patrol.
Mike has an extensive background in the field of crash investigation as well as reconstruction work. He has over sixteen years experience as a Certified Crash Reconstruction Specialist, and is also certified by the Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstruction (ACTAR #1286),with Full Accreditation as a Traffic Accident Reconstructionist. The courts recognize him as an expert witness in both criminal and civil cases, and he has investigated numerous crashes throughout his career. Mike is also a member of the National Association of Professional Accident Reconstruction Specialists (NAPARS), Midwest Association of Technical Investigators (MATAI), National Association of Traffic Accident Reconstructionists and Investigators (NATARI), and the Professional Society of Forensic Mapping.
Mike is a certified instructor in MapScenes Pro, Evidence Recorder, Forensic Mapping, CAD Software, and Crash Investigation Courses. Mike also owns and operates Collision Forensic Solutions, LLC.

Len Szmurlo
Len is a retired police officer with over 29 years of law enforcement experience. He was a police officer for the Council Bluffs, Iowa Police Department for 4 years and served over 25 years as an officer for the Omaha, Nebraska Police Department. The last 16 years Len dedicated himself to the field of crash investigations.
Len achieved the level of crash reconstructionist in 1998 and was accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstruction, (ACTAR #1200) in 2001. He continues to broaden his education in the field of crash reconstruction and forensic mapping by attending various schools and seminars. Len has testified as an expert witness in criminal and civil crash investigation cases.
Len is a certified instructor for the Intermediate, Advanced, and Technical levels of crash investigation courses offered by Collision Forensic Solutions.
Len is currently a member of the National Association of Professional Accident Reconstruction Specialists (NAPARS) and the Midwest Association of Technical Accident Investigators (MATAI). Len is a consultant for Collision Forensic Solutions, LLC at the Omaha office.

Jay Urban
Jay is a retired police officer with more than 22 years of law enforcement experience with the Omaha, Nebraska Police Department. For more than 20 years, Jay worked exclusively in the field of traffic crash investigation and reconstruction.
In 1990, Jay received his certificate in accident reconstruction from the Institute of Police Technology and Management (IPTM), and achieved full accreditation status through the Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstruction (ACTAR #1119) in 2000.
In his tenure as a traffic crash investigator, Jay investigated more than 130 motor vehicle fatality crashes. He has been recognized as an expert witness in numerous criminal and civil cases. Jay has been a certified instructor for the Omaha Police Department since 1995. He has taught officers from numerous agencies throughout Nebraska and Iowa in intermediate, advanced, and technical levels of traffic crash investigation. Jay is a member of the Midwest Association of Technical Accident Investigators (MATAI) and is a consultant for Collision Forensic Solutions, LLC at their Papillion, NE office.
